Studio Otto Felix participated for the third time at CASACOR Sao Paulo. It is the largest exhibition of architecture, interior design, and landscape in America. The event was held from July 5 to September 11 at Conjunto Nacional, Avenida Paulista, Brazil. At this year's event, Studio Otto Felix presented a 415-square-meter house known as LG Magenta House.

"We started the process with extensive research and everything was thought out to be a blend of contemporary and vintage, modernist environments, from seat covers and the use of exposed ceilings." Felix explains.

The project was inspired by a modernist concept in the 50s at Conjunto Nacional. LG Magenta House is designed to be a graceful home with innovative technology from LG. To build this project, Studio Otto Felix applied glass block material as the walls of the house and the original structure of the building exposed to the ceiling.

The glass block applied by Studio Otto Felix is intended to bring the light from the entire area. The porcelain floors that already existed in the building were left exposed, to complete the concept of the LG Magenta House. Pilaster was created to give the VISUAL impression of a "real home" at the CASACOR event. Otto Felix's studio coats pilasters with enameled ceramics to create a classic concept for the house.

The structural column of the original building becomes the center that arranges the layout of each area at LG Magenta House. To cover the column, Studio Otto Felix designed a large wooden cabinet that functions as a place for clothes, a laundry area to the kitchen. This multifunctional cabinet also functions as a partition between spaces.

Several designers also participated in completing the interior components at the LG Magenta House, such as Jean Gillon designing a large dining table with wood material, Lojas Teo, and Artemobilia designing chairs. Meanwhile, Studio Otto Felix designed a sofa named Joaquim Egidio. One of the most important elements of the LG Magenta House is that the lighting arranged by designer Jader Almeida creates beauty on every side. The avocado-shaped mirror applied to the bedroom was designed by designer Erik Bonissato from Boni. and several other designers who helped bring the interior to life at LG Magenta House, Cate Poli, and VW Stone.
